Opportunity Description

We are looking for approximately 30 volunteers to work at the Virtual Reality Festival taking place in March 2020.

These people will be working in a number of different roles to do the following:

Meet and greet visitors to the Festival, direct them and give them information
Help visitors to put on and take off VR headsets (and wipe clean the headsets before and after each time they are used)
Help visitors select programmes on their headset from on-screen menus
Deal with basic technological glitches/charge headsets at electricity points (there will be help and supervision on the technology side of things from the tech support staff)
Serve drinks in a small on-site cafe area

Volunteer duties, time commitment and schedule:

Attend 1 day’s training session (date TBC but we think at this early stage that it would ideally take place during the daytime on the Friday which will see the launch of the weekend Festival later that evening, in March 2020)
Work on a volunteer shift (hours/pattern to be decided) across both days of the Festival (which will take place during the daytime on Saturday and Sunday of one weekend (TBC dates March 2020)
